Good Evening!

We have arrived in Hannibal, Missouri, the home of Mark Twain. It has been the last of our most eventful days on the adventures with GG. (At least, I hope so. Tomorrow just means time on the road until we arrive back in our own beds.)

The day started in Wamego Kansas. We got to spend two nights there at the Wamego Inn and Suites with Ginger's sister Marilyn and neice Janet Kay. After a day of shopping, both Marilyn and Ginger slept in a little bit, with Ginger entering the hotel's lobby the last for our complimentary breakfast. She was surprised to be greeted by gales of laughter, because she was truly "airing her laundry" in her own home town as she grandly entered the room with the previous day's underpants hanging from the bottom bar of her walker. I learned that Janet Kay snorts like Sandra Bullock. I couldn't catch my breath and got the hiccups, and both Marilyn and Ginger had tears rolling down their cheeks!

Marilyn and Janet said their good byes so Marilyn could go off and visit a school chum of Marilyn's and we were off to go to Marysville to see Ginger's college roommate, Bish. It seems that this nickname was given because it was a shortened version of Mary Margaret Bishop. (I had always wondered about that) Bish and her husband Casey met us at the Wagon Wheel Resturaunt where there was much remembering as well as memories made. It was heart warming to see those two college girls get together. And it was Bish's 61st wedding anniversary!

The rest of the day was dedicated to travel. Traffic was light and the company was great. Life is good.

My next post will be written from my home and dedicated to rehashing the first week of our trip, for anyone who did not get that information.

Over and Out.

Patty
